Helm vs C-Suite
Helm and C-Suite (csuiteapp.ai) are both AI boards of advisors built for founders and operators — a standing set of AI executives in place of the C-suite a small business can't yet afford to hire. The real differences are what each board actually sees before it answers, how many roles you get, and how you pay for them.
C-Suite: Up to 13 across three tiers — 4 core (CEO, CFO, CTO, COO), +4 with Plus (CMO, GC, CRO, CHRO), +4 Pro-exclusive (tax, faith, investment, personal finance), plus a $34.99/mo Exit Strategist add-on.
Helm: 5 fixed roles built for a small business's actual gaps — CFO, COO, CMO, HR Director, General Counsel — all included on every plan.
C-Suite: No accounting-system integration — advisors work from a company profile you fill in during onboarding, not your real books.
Helm: Direct, read-only QuickBooks Online connection. Your CFO sees your actual P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash position, synced daily.
C-Suite: No document upload — advisors work from your onboarding interview and conversation history only.
Helm: The Vault. Upload contracts, pricing sheets, and financials once; every advisor reads them before answering.
C-Suite: No stated fact-checking step against your actual data.
Helm: A second AI pass checks every number, date, and named entity in the draft answer against your real source material before you see it.
C-Suite: Three tiers — $29.99, $59.99, or $79.99/mo. The full advisor roster requires the top tier, plus the Exit Strategist add-on if you want it.
Helm: One flat price — $49/mo or $399/yr. Every advisor, unlimited conversations, no per-seat unlocks.
C-Suite: 7 days, no credit card.
Helm: 14 days, no credit card.
C-Suite: Native iOS and Android apps.
Helm: Web app — works in any mobile browser, no native app yet.
C-Suite: Connect your own AI agents via API key or webhook, replacing or adding to a board seat.
Helm: Not supported — Helm's five advisors are fixed, not extensible with third-party agents.
C-Suite: “Board Meeting” mode — capped at 3 sessions/month on the base tier, unlimited on Plus and Pro.
Helm: The Boardroom — every advisor, one question, at once. Unlimited on every plan, no tier gate.
C-Suite: No stated capability to read or audit your live website.
Helm: Your CMO reads your actual live site — headlines, structure, calls to action — for a real marketing audit.
What Helm can't do
- No native mobile app. Helm is a web app. It works in a mobile browser, but there's no iOS or Android app the way C-Suite has.
- No custom-agent integration. You can't plug your own AI agents into a Helm advisor seat via API or webhook.
- Fewer, fixed advisor roles. Helm doesn't offer a tax strategist, a faith-and-business advisor, a chief investment officer, a personal financial planner, or a dedicated exit strategist. If your business specifically needs one of those, C-Suite's Pro tier has it and Helm doesn't.
- No named board personas. Helm's advisors are role-based — a CFO, not “Marcus Chen.” If you want a more personified board experience, that's C-Suite's approach, not Helm's.
Common questions
Is Helm cheaper than C-Suite?
Depends what you need. C-Suite's entry tier ($29.99/mo) is cheaper than Helm's flat $49/mo, but that tier only includes 4 generic advisors with no live QuickBooks connection or document upload. To get C-Suite's full advisor roster you need the $79.99/mo Pro tier — more than Helm's $49/mo flat price for all five Helm advisors.
Does C-Suite connect to QuickBooks like Helm does?
Not as far as C-Suite's own site describes. Its advisors work from a company profile you fill in and your conversation history, not a live accounting-system connection. Helm's CFO reads your actual QuickBooks P&L, Balance Sheet, and AR aging directly.
Can I use both?
Some operators do run more than one AI advisor tool at once. If you specifically need C-Suite's tax strategist, faith-and-business advisor, or exit-planning specialist, those aren't roles Helm offers today.
